Failures

From Elan: "I want everyone to know I am just like them. Just because I have pictures on my website of me in a suit, me fighting, and me speaking to cool people doesn't mean I am not a regular guy. Let me prove it; here is a list of my biggest failures:"

Elan's Note: These are my big failures; however, I fail daily. Failure is a good thing. It steers you in the right direction. I fail more than most people, and that's why I have a resume of successful things. You need to be willing to fail. It's nonnegotiable.

1. Resold shoes for over 2 years and made $70 in profit.. Barely anything.

2. Lost $1500 on NFT's

3. Personally sent thousands of podcast invites with no responses.

4. Knocked on hundreds of doors and got rejected, screamed at, cursed at, and denied.

5. Lost my first sanctioned (organized) fight.

6. Tried starting a coaching business and failed.

7. Tried starting an AI community and failed.

8. Tried starting a faceless youtube channel and failed.

Every failure helps steer you in the correct direction, but at the end of the day, are these really failures?

Elan's Story

1011740372.jpg

For most of his life, Elan struggled to believe in himself. He was the kid who hid behind jokes, the class clown who used humor to get attention because he didn’t know how to be himself. Confidence, self-belief, and action all felt out of reach. Deep down, though, there was always a quiet voice telling him he was meant for something more, he just couldn’t prove it yet.

That voice grew louder when he saw his mom struggling. Working long hours, juggling bills, and still finding the strength to care for him and his brother, she embodied sacrifice. The moments that hurt most weren’t loud or dramatic; they were quiet. A text from his mom saying she was sorry she couldn’t send more money. Watching her take from her 401(k) just to make it through the month. Those moments lit a fire in him, not of anger, but of purpose.

His dad, one of the smartest people he knows, always pushed him to think bigger. He reminded Elan that he had more potential than his circumstances suggested. Still, school never felt like his path. He wasn’t a straight-A student; he didn’t fit the mold. So instead of trying to change who he was, he went all-in on himself.

That’s when Abundant Thinking was born, a podcast built to bridge the gap between ordinary and extraordinary. Elan didn’t know a single successful person when he started. But he had curiosity, drive, and a deep desire to learn how the top 1% think differently from the rest. One conversation at a time, he began connecting with leaders, authors, and entrepreneurs who taught him not just success but also mindset and the system of thinking that shapes every outcome.

Today, Elan continues to grow his podcast and his mindset community. But more than anything, he’s committed to helping others realize what he learned firsthand: you don’t need perfect grades, perfect timing, or a perfect background. You just need belief, consistency, and a refusal to quit.

Because no matter where you start, no matter your circumstances , you can rise. Others have been in worse situations and built something extraordinary. And so can you.
